On Friday night
Mrs. James I. Decker was fittingly
celebrated at the Decker farm home
east of Centre Hall along State High-
way Route No. 95. Mre. Decker was
the former Miss Verna Durst, a
daughter of Mr and Mrs. Philip
Durst, both deceased. Mr. and Mrs.
Decker have always lived
township-first on a partion of the Mi-
chael Decker homestead acquired by
them, and later at their present home
acquired from the Harper estate,
which has been improved from a point
of appearance ang productivity.
Guests present on the occasion in-
cluded the members of the immediate
family and neighbors and associates:
Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Sharer, Charles
Durst, Miss Mary Durst, Mr. and Mrs,
Miles Decker, Mr. and Mrs. Merle
Decker, LaRue Decker and daughter
Dorothy, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth
Brown and daughter Miriam, Ned
Shaffer, Charles Decker, Ray, Clyde,
Warren, William and George Decker,
and Miss Mae Foray, the latter of
Lewisburg.
The evening was pleasantly spent in
playing various games. The very de-
licious refreshments served created
no small interest in the evening's pro-
gram,
