DAUBERMAN ~
ticeably falling in health during
past two years, the death of John
Goodhart Dauberman, on Friday eve-
ning, was as unexpected as it was
sudden. He attended to business to
within a quarter of an hour of his
death. He closed his meat market
at ten o'clock, after having spent most
of the evening in conversation with
those gathered there, who noted his
friendly attitude toward subjects spok-
en of, and improvement in appearance
and movement over that of a few days
previous, On his way, home he dellv-
ered a package of meat. On reaching
his home he went direct to the bath
room, where he was seized with a fit
of coughing which attracted Mrs. Daub.
erman to his side. On reaching him
she discovered that he had had an ex-
tremely severe hemorrhage from the
mouth. She seated him a chair,
and rushed for a physician a few doors
distant, but before arrived life
had departed.
