Walter E. Hackman, of Rebersburg,

payments on a support order for his
wife and child. Hackman stated that
he wag married in 1922 but he and his
wife never went to housekeeping. At
the time he was engineer in ‘a power
house at Pitcairn and drawing $150 a
month. In February, 1923, his wife
had him arrested for non-support and

for $25 a month, Some time during
1934 heleft Pitcairn and returned to
the home farm. near Rebersburg, owing
to the {liness of his father. He made
his support payments until about three
years ago when he came into court
and asked for a reduction In the order,
and the same was reduced to $12 a
month. Last year, however, ha paid
only $12 the entireyear. Hackman told
the court that farming has been so
poor that he hasn't made enough of
money to pay his feed bills and taxes,
Mrs. Hackman, whose parents are
dead. has been staying with her sister
at Madisonburg and supporting her
