LOCALS MAKE IT § STRAIGHT
BY DEFEATING “GAPS” 7-8
Centre Hall pulled a game from the
fire Thursday evening in a T7-inning
twilight game with Pleasant Gap on
the local fidld.
Durst took the mound for the home
team, but wag soon in difficulty when
free passes to first, coupled with some
inferior catching Pleasant Caps

the home plate without much difficulty.
In the third inning, with one gone and
the score 5 to 1 against the home
team, Gross was substituted for Durst,
and gave a splendid exhibition of pitch.
