marriage to Miss Carre Dolan, of Mar

term as a jeweler, the family moved
back to Marion township where “San-
dy" operated a truck farm until 1911.
In 1808 he was visited by the lliness
that hag left its permanent effect upon
his physique. but which left his In-
domitable spirit unscathed. For six
years he was umable to work, but fi-
nally he regmined his strength, and be
fore hy left Maribn township for what
proved to be the last time he resided
in that section, he was the “Sandy”
