When the lunch or supper supplies
seem a trifle less hearty than usual, It
is a good time to have fritters, which
are rich and substantial—in fact, too
substantial to have in addition to oth-
er foods on a heavy dinner menu,

tasty and appetizing. Fritters may be
made of many mater but are ex

corn or milk, or whatever liquid is
