During his active life, Mr. Swartz
followed the occupation of farming and
fived in various sections in Bpring
township, finally acquiring a farm
east of Pleasant Cap where he lived
until retiring.
Funeral services were held on Wed-
nesday afternoon by Rev. W. J. Wag:
ner, of the Lutheran church, his pas-
tor. Interment was made at Pleasant
Gap.

born in Potter township, died In State
College. He was a son of George and

first wife was married to Harry Shaw-

Currin, former editor and publisher of
the Sagar Valley Journal, who died
Thursday of heart trouble at the home
of his daughter, Mra. Faith Masters,
near Loganton, with whom he resided.
Rev. W. L, Kamble had charge of the
services which were held first at the
home, continuing at the . Loganton
Evangelical ehurch.
