High Prices for Jerseys.
What is said to be the best sale of
Jersey cattle in the United States this
year was that conducted on Saturday
by T. 8. Cooper & Son on their Lin-
dengrove farm at Coopersburg. Six-
ty-one head were sold for $60,900, an
average of $998 a head.
The animals disposed of were twen-
ty-three cows, thirty heifers, one helf-
er calf and seven bull calves. The to-
tal, considering the fact that no bulls
were offered, was remarkable, The
highest priced animal knocked down
was the cow Financial Fawn, medalist,
bought by O S. Widener, of Lynwood
farm, Ogontz, for $4,000, who also
bought the bull calf Cid of Linden, for
$3,500.
Cherrles on Apple Tree.

Orchards throughout Nittany valley
are not unlike those of Penns Valley
in regard to fruit bearing. In many
orchards there will be no apples at all.
It is most unusual in this section of
the state to have two seusons go by
without an apple crop.

dy HALLS CATARRH MEDICINE
is a constitutional remedy. Catarrhal
Deafness is caused by an inflamed con-
dition of the mucous lining of the Eusta-
chian Tube. When this tube is inflamed
you heve a rumbling sound or imperfect
hearing, and when it is entirely closed,
Deafness is the result. Unless the in-
flammation can be reduced, your hearing
may he destroved forever HALL'S
CATARRH MEDICINE acts through the
blood on the mucous surfaces of the sys-
tem, thus reducing the inflammation and
assisting Nature in restoring normal cons
ditions. .
