Young Man Commits Suicide.
Harvey Keaster, a young man resid-
ing at Penn's Creek, near New Berlin,
shot and fatally wounded himself with a

Mrs. Homer Cowder and daughter,
Kathryn, and Mildred Smeal,
aged 6 years, with Mrs. Cowder’s broth-
er driving, were on their way to Clear-
field and as they were passing another
car drove into a telephone pole, damag-
ing the Cowder car considerably,
The injured were quickly taken to Me
Cottage State hospital Philipsburg
where 1t was found that Mrs. Cowder is
suffering from concussion of the brain
and other injuries, while her daughter
was cut about the mouth and her teeth
were likewise hurt. Little Miss Smeal
was cut about the face and is suffering
other hurt. Mrs, Cowder and Mildred
Smeal will remain at the hospital for
further treatment, while Kathryn Cow.

having her injuries dressed.
