Colyer school, has arranged a Christ-
mas entertainment to be given by her
scholars in the school building this
(Thursday) evening. The school pa-
trons are cordially invited to be pree-

The Standard steel works at Burn
bam have temporarily suspended oper-
ations on sccount of coal being delayed
in shipment because of the general tie:
up of railroad transportation. About
thirty-four carloads of coal are required
every twenty-four hours for the opera-
tion of the plant.
Among the enlistments in the U.
B, Army service in which the Report-
er readers will be interested is that of
William Wolfe, son of Mr, and Mrs,
J. Witmer Wolf, of Ardmore, who
volunteered to serve in a medical
corps, in the surgical ifpstrument de-
partment, He expected to sail for
France on the 15th inst, He scored
one bundred per cent. in physical ex-
smination. About the same time he
enlisted, the engagement of Miss Edith
Faylor, of Ardmore, to the young
soldier, was announced. -

companied by such affidavit evidence
as such person may desire to have con-
sidered,

this board on a duplicate of such first

submit affidavit evidence in support of

lection of registrants, under these

by mailing a questionnaire (Form

subsequent action faken by either the
Local or District Board in respect of
each registrant shall be given by enter-
ing a winute or date of such action on
the classification list (Form 1000) io
