After spending a few months in the western states, Mre, Maize returned to her home on Friday. Mr, and Mrs. George Weaver spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Gulsewite, at Feidler, Miss Belva Beaver, of Millheim, called on a few of her friends on Bat- urday. Edwin Charles, of Huntingdon, and his mother, Mrs, Harvey Charles, of Hartleton, were guests of Mr. and Mra, Claude Feidler. Mr. and Mrs, F. D. Btover, Mr, and Mrs. Forest Stover, autoed to Brush Valley on Bunday and spent the day at the Bamuel Mowery home, Mrs, R. W, Mensch returned home from Bunbury on Saturday where she spent a few days with her brother, Henry Mensch, and family. Rev. John A. Bright, an Asarons- burg boy, now of Topeka, Kansas, has written his brother, C. G. Bright, in this place, of his intention to start east in a few days to be present at the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the organization of the Lutheran charge at Jersey Bhore, which will be held from April 22nd to 20th. Rev. Bright will take an important part on the program from the fact that he is the oldest minister in point of years and service of that charge. Of course, he will not return west without first visiting bis many friends and relatives in this place, which will be at the cloge of the church eelebration. For the first time in several years the Aarousburg High school will graduate a class of six, four girls and two boys. An excellent program has been prepared and a speaker of note, Prof. Llewellyn Philips, of Bucknell Univeieity, Lewisburg, will deliver the commencement sddrese, The Asronsburg orchestra will furnish music, The exercises will be held In the Lutheran church on Monday, April 28td.
