After eleven years in the hotel busi-
nese, Mr. and Mre. Edward Royer
turned over the mansgement of the

the part of both r. and Mre, Roger
made this step imperative, and now
relieved of the worry incident to busi-
ness they will seek to recuperate their
shattered health. Taking care of a
large transient trade, besides numer-
ous parties, gave the Old Fort hotel a
wide reputation and the pew manage
ment is well fitted to “keep the qual-

The Ola Jitney Out,
The “old” jitpey has been ruled
out entirely all over the state by Pab-
lic Bervice Commissioner Mansghan
of Philadelphia in a decision just
rendered. There is little doubt but
that the ‘new ” jitney will be on the
scene with proper credentials before a
long while, It is not reasonable to se
sume that all sutomobil® owners must
refrain from taking money from their
neighbors as payment for being ocar-
ried to a designated point, although
that is what the comments in the oity
dailies imply.
