The six weeks’ evangelistic campaign
by Rev. Paul Brown and party came

Mre. George Robertson of Hartford,
Connecticut, was an arrival at the
home of her father, B. D. Brisbin, on
Monday.
E. B. Ripka is in Boston, Massachu-
sette, headquarters of the Hamilton
Brown Bhoe Company, in whose em-
ploy he ie,
Ed. Brown installed a Bell tele-
phone in the home of Jesse McClens-
har, the auto liverymap, at Potters
Mille, this week.
Mr. and Mre., J. FB. Getchell and
little son of Youngwood, spent a few
days last week at the home of Mr, and
Mre. Cyrus Brungart.
A Weaver piano was placed in the
home of Mr. and Mre. Charles Bart-
ger, at Bpring Mille, by the local
agent, Prof. P. H. Meyer.
Harry Hubler of Lock Haven and
Roy Tressler of Centre Hall on Batu:-
day evening took initiatory and first
degrees in the local I. O. O. F, ledge,
D. J. Nieman, the up-tc-late Mill-
heim clothier, will be on Grange Park
during the Encampment, with a select
line of wearing appare!. Look for

William Boozer, last week, built an
addition to the camp house belonging
to a number of Btate Collega profes-
sional men and located far in Reliz's
Gep, near Boalsburg.
Louise Smith and Miriam Foss
spent a few days at Btate College with
relatives of the former little maiden.
Mr. and Mre. T. I. Bmith brought
them home on Tuesaday.
Mre. Harry Burris of Oak Hall
spent Bunday at the home of her ps-
rents, Mr. and Mre. Jacob Bharer,
Her little sister, Mabelle, returned
home with her for a short stay.
Boyd Homan of Btate College, who
visited relatives in Freeport, Illinois,
for some weeks, left for home begin-
ning of this week. On Friday he at-
tended a reunion of the Runkle fam-
ilies at Freeport,
Grange Park has again taken on its
color of white and appears in the dis-
tance like the camp of a belligerent,
All tents are now erected with the
exception of a few in use at the Will-
iam’s Grove picnic this week.
The home of Mre. Emaline Coldron
is undergoing improvement. A short
time sgn a new addition was built
and now the old portion is being reset
with new windowr, new studding, ete,
Carpenter Aaron Thomas is doiog the

Miss Barah Goodbart of Cleveland,
Obie, who for the past several months
has been visiting reiatives in Pennpevi-
vanie, is at the bome of her mother,
Mre. Mary Goodhart, in this place,
and will remain until after the Eop-
campment and Fair,
Mr. and Mre. Martin Rutter of
Meyerdale, Bomerset county, and Mr.
and Mre. Martin of Williamsport auto-
ed to Centre Hall on Tuesday and
took dinner at the home of the form-
er’a niece, Mre. H. A. Dodson. The
Iatter couple returned home the same
day while the former went to Reeds
ville to visit their niece, Mre. W. H
Thompsor.
I. J. Dreese of Lemont spent a few
days in the Lock Haven hospital as
the result of injuries sustained on his
chest when he was thrown violently
against the steering wheel of his Sto-
debaker automobile as the car struck a
concrete culvert above Flemington,
Saturday night. Mr. Dreese was on
his way home from attending the Old
Home week festivities at Lock Haven
and when his car skidded it struck the
culvert with such force that one of the
front wheels was broken and the
frame was bent, Dreese returned to
his home Tuesday morning suffering
little from the sceident,
CENTRE MILLS
Abper Hill and family spent Bunday
with Ira Bholiz,
Paul Behafler and Miss Ida Rachau
attended the tabernacle meeting at
Centre Hall.
Ezra Breoo, wife and little son of
Philadelphia are gueats at the home of
the former's parents,
Mr. and Mre. Harry Bectol returned
after picking buckleberries and visit-
ing friends in Union county for some
time.
Mr. and Mre, Coble and little grand-
son of Linden Hall visited their sop,
Charles Coble, of this piace, Baturday
and Sunday.
Roy Held and Ira Bhultz made a
trip to Union county, and upon re-
turning had their sutomobile loaded
with peaches.
Edna Bailey returned to the home of
her grandparents after spending sever-
al weeks with Miss Gertrude Bpangler
at Centre Hall,
