Rev. G. W. Mclinay of Nescopeck
spent a few days beginning of this
week with former parishioners in this
place. Rev. Mclinay evjoys the fel-
lowship of his former Penns Valley
flock and the feeling is warmly recip-
rocated by them.
Mre. Mary Goodhart returned on
Baturday from a five weeks’ visit. to
her children in Johnstown, Altoona
and Milroy. She was accompanied
home by her grandson, Franklin
Goodhart, the eldest soo of Mr. and
Mre. B. M. Goodhart, of Johnstown.
Friday afternoon at three o'clock
Harry Geer, a prisoner at the new
penitentiary at Rockview, made his
escape but was caught next morning
at four o'clock at Gregg station by two
guarde. Geer was serving a sentence
of not less than three years and not
more than five years for assault, He
will be taken back to Pittsburgh and
