William Ruble, a farm hand, died st the home of Miss Bettie Kimport, a short disterce east of Linden Hall, Tuesday evening at 7:80 o'clock, from the effects of belpg struck on the head by a falling limb of a tres while cut- ting timber in the mouniain a short distance from his home, The facts in the fatal scoident are thete : Mr. Ruble, who for the past four years had been employed by Mies Kimport, who owne a farm snd some mountain land vesr Licden Hall, left home sbout nine o'clock for the pure pose of cutting a few logs. George Markle, a neighbor, had planned to go with him, but owirg to other work requiring Lis attention, did not do so Mr. Ruble started for the woods appearance at the noon hour, Miss Kimport became uneasy, but did not autertain any grave fears until about two o'clock, when she went to the home of her cousin, John Kimporf, trip to the mountain and ascertain the reason for his failure to come home Arriving on the scepe, Mr. A t that an unconscious condition examination revealed the fac condition was critical and home Mr. Kimport secured the help of others and removed the man to hie home.
