Bodyer, of Centre Hall, has for a period of tifteen years used a formula which continu- ously produced favorable results, and since his coming here the recipe was given to others who also obtained tbe game results, The formula is inexpen- give and the method of handling the eggs so simple, that any one can pre- serve eggs who cares to give slight attention to details. The recipe and instructions follow : 4 Ibs, air slaked lime Egg Preserative, 1 qt. salt 1 oz. cream of tartar, t. Pour three gallons of boiling water over the above, stir well, and when ¢rol strain through a cloth into a g'one jar. Place the eggs each day in the solution, which iesufficient for at least ten dozen. The eggs, of course, are put into the preservative they are cheap.
