At the foot of Old Tus- ship, at the home of George Jordan, the body met at the banquet table, ( be- Heving as they do that every organi- zation should assemble at the fistive evening of last week. Laws, as unchangeable sas those of the Medes and Persians, were passed, and will be rigidly enforced. A few of the rules that the public may know are these : No member i» permitted to * histe booze to the extent of becoming a pro- fessional in the art ; no member ia al- lowed to escort an old maid who ie adicted to the use of powder and paint —the penalty being dismissal, with no appeal. But the banquet ! It was a grand success. Thirty «- nine were present, and the Potters Mills orchestra fur- nished the music, There were several recitations and addresses. * Eating Pie in the Air ”’ was the subject eluci- dated by W. Mulbarger, and fur her expounded by F. McCoy. Beveral speakers from a distance had been in- vited, but they were not present.
