During the heavy electrical storm
Thursday night of last week the twc,
story stone dwelling of James T
Fisher, on the Lilleyviile road, three
miles east of Lewistown, wes struck by
lightning snd destroyed- The sleep-
ing fsmily, scantily clad, barely
escaped.
Mr. and Mrs J. H. Getchal’, of
Dunbar, were arrivals in Centre Hall
last Saturday afternoon, snd until
Tuesdsy were guests at the home of
the latter's parents, Mr. and Mrs Cy-
rus Brupgart. On their return to
Dunbar Miss Cora Bruogsrt accom
panied them and will remain for some
months.
W. J. Mitterling, the cow drover,
msde s diversion froma his business
and bought up a car load of apples and
potatoes and shipped ithe same to
Collegeville, where he disposed of
them. He alsoshipped a car load of
cattle at the same time, snd was on
the ground to personally superintend

store at Farmers Mills about the first
