LEONARD MESUMER
Wednesday of last week Leonard
Messimer died at his home In the vie
cipity of Green Grove church, north of
Penn Hall, and interment was made
in Green Grove cem:tery “Baturday
morning, Rev. D. C. Csrie, pastor of
the Evangelical church officiating.
Mr, Messimer was a veteran of the
civil war, and was aged eighty.ore
years and ten months. He had been
in delica e health for some tio doe to
age. He is survived by a wife, nee
Mariah RBnvder, and seven children,
namely, J hn, Joseph, Mra Henry
Wagner and Mra Reedar, all of Green
Grove ; William, of Gresnburr, Clin-
ton county ; Jacob, of State College,
and Mra, John 8 iyder, of Poun Hall
The deceased was a member of tre
Evangelical church for a period of
forty-one years.
