The death of George W. Ream oc-
curred suddenly Saturday morning, at
his home near Penns Cave. Mr. Ream
was apparently in his usual health,
wife of Elmer Behenck, of Boalsburg,
two brothers and three sisters. Funer-
al services were held Monday, Rev.
W. ww. Rhoads officiating.

Friday morning W. A. White died
u ddenly at the home of W. H. Thomp-
son, at Howard. He arose In the
morning, kindled the fire, and assisted
the Thompson children in dressing
themselves, and after breakfast while
helping to do work about the house he
became suddenly ill. He went to bed,
sand io a few minutes thereafter death
ended his life, the direct cause being
apoplexy.
The deceased was born in Maryland,
in 1854, and for twenty seven years he
had been a resident of Howard, first
being employed at the furnace, Later
he was a railroad trackman, but while
working on the Bald Eagle Vally rail
road a sore developed on one of his
limbs, which necessitated amputation,

Thursday evening of last week Jacob
Neidig died at his home at Woodward,
aged sixty-nine years, nine days. Her.
