The Lewistown Democrat and Hen-
tinel views the Republican candidate
for district attorney thus:
A candidate for district attorney
over in Centre county is not at all
modest in his platform, He pledges
himeelf to break up the larceny, bur-
glary and murder that have run riot
in the county and ‘stop it without
unnecessary expense Lo the taxpayer,’
He must be a wonder, and the position
of prosecuting attorney for the whole
Btate ought to be ¢ eated for him,
Buch sbility should not be confined to
one little county.
