James Lingle, who is employed by the P. R. R. Co.,, was over Bunday. The party held Friday evening in honor of Calvin Lingle was well at- tended. He received many gifts, and all present enjoyed the evening. Mr. Mrs. Wagner, of Brush Valley, were of the former's brother, John Wagner, Bunday. Mrs. Glass and granddaughter, Bars, of near Glen Iron, visited the latter's grandparents, Mr. Mrs. W. R. Lingle, a few days. Mrs. W. P. Lingle, who has been for some time, is not improving. Monday Alternoon on Kirm Mrs, John Bhook at Spring Mills, Monday afternoon between hours of three and four o'clock the Bhook, widow of John B8hook, of Spring Mills, was totally destroyed by fire. The buildings are located about one-eight of a mile east of OC, P. Long's store, and are those on the farm form- erly owned by Lewis Waltz.
