An extremely sad death occurred at
Pleasant Gap Sunday morning, at
which the wife of Boyd A.

About three weeks prior to this in-
cident Mr. and Mrs. BSpicher moved
into their new home, and were looking
forward to a pleasant journey through

To Tell a Fashionable Restaurant,
“When I young,” sald an old
bachelor, all the fashionable res-
taurants wrote your order. That
was the to distinguish the really
fashionable restaurant. You wrote your
order there, whereas In the common
one you gave it to the walter orally.
Ordering is a difficult matter. It is a
ally when one has guests,
that one iy to get flustered over;
hence 1 always liked to write my or-
der. It kept jut a walter,
standing over me, suggesting dishes 1
didn't want, hurrying me, had the
power to 1 me completely. But
fashionable restaurants no longer are
to be dist ished by this writing
business. Writing has disappeared
from them. They are to be distin-
guished now by their French menus—
bothersome things that call a sweet-
bread a ris de veau, a potple a vol au

Rimini 1s full of associations with
hrilling people of the past. It was
here that Caesar crossed the Rubleon.
We crossed ourselves on the very

here, too, that Bt. Anthony came to
preach and, finding no people who
would give heed to him, turned in de-
spalr and preached to the fishes, who
ralsed thelr heads out of the wate to
listen to him. There Is a chapel which
marks the spot where he stood by the
water. In Rimint lived Paolo and
