The Democratic voters of Centre
county will meet at the regular places
for holding the general elections, in
their respective election districts, on
Saturday, June 2ad, 1908, to elect dele-
gates to the County Convention.
Under the rules of the party, the of-
ficers for holding the primaries will
consist of the committeeman and two
assistants in each district, and the
election will be opened at 3 o'clock Pp.
m. and close at 7 o'clock p. m.

Fire In Bellefonte,
At 1:15 o'clock Friday morning fire
was discovered at the home of William
Burrows, on East Linn Street, Belle-
founte, which totally destroyed the
house together with its contents. The
flames had gained such headway
when discovered that the family had
very uparrow escape from being
burned to death, some of the members

the second story windows. Only by
