amount realized as $12682051. The
Crucible Company estimates its own

The gross earnings from traffic of
the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Com.
pany for August were $5.870,152, a de-
crease of $110,006 compared with Au-
gust, 1003. The expenses were $3,486,
112, a decrease of $70,514, and the net

tax collector for 1800, John Case has
resigned as chief of police of Mobile.
Case's alleged shortage has been acted
