enlarged to meet the requirements,
Helen Keller, who has been deaf,
dumb and blind since she was 18
months old, but who has pursued a
wide range of studies in spite of her in-
firmities, was graduated, with the de
gree of bachelor of arts from Radcliffe
college, the woman's annex of Harvard
university, on Tuesday.
While at the St. Louis Exposition
every one is desirous of stopping at a
pleasant and home-like place. Such a
place will be found at 7050 Wise Street,
the residence of W. C, Bweetwood, for-
merly of Centre Hill. Here visitors
give

ed near the Bkinker Road entrance to

New Manager for Nittany Furnnee,
Noah H. Swayne, of Cedartown,
Georgian, at a special meeting of the
Board of Directors of the Nittany Iron
Company, of Bellefonte, was elected
general manager of the furnace to sue-
ceed J. M. Gephart, who has success
fully mapvaged both furnaces for the
past few years, Mr. Bwayue comes to
his new position very highly recom
mended as a practical iron man, The
furnace will probably be banked for
some time Lo make some necessary re-
pairs und to awnit better market cone
ditions in the iron business, which has
fallen oft very materially during the
past year.
