Tressler Farm Sold,
The executors of the estate of Jona-
than Tressler, deceased, late of Harris
township, Friday of last week sold the
real estate of the decedent. The farm
containing one hundred and twenty
acres was sold to Jonathan Tressler,
Jr., for $5712, being at the rate of $47.-
60 per acre.
The woodland, twenty-three acres,
was bought by Edward Sellers, of Oak
Hall, for $100.00
Messrs. Fortney & Walker were at-

The Democrats of Milton want Ed-
ward Weidenbhamer, the school book
man, who is well known here, to an-
nounce himself as a candidate for the
nomination for state senator from that
district, Mr. Weidenhamer Is emi-
nently fitted for that position. The
district is the 27th, and is composed of
Northumberland, Unica and Boyder
counties. The district gave Benator
Foebt a plurality of 476 and a majori-
ty orbut nine votes, There will be a
bitter contest against the present in-
cumbent for a re-nomination, and
since Snyder county began cutting po-
litical capers, there is a good fighting
chance for a Democrat to win,
