Ward, the Grand Jury has brought in
true bills against eight men charged
with conspiracy to corrupt the election
of the Twelfth Division of the Fifth
Ward. There are separate indictments
covering various crimes, from padding
the assessors’ lists and stuffing the bal
lot box to a false return of the vote,

the ballot box for this division reveal-
ed an ingenuity of crime which was
even more startling than some of the
