No Men Allowed,
Monday evening a big sled load of
of Bellefonte’s mesdames took posses-
sion of Runkle's hotel, where they had
a supper. They wanted a sleigh ride
and a night off, being encumbered
while at home with a husband on
their hands, debarred the very men
who had to shell out for the fiddler's
bill. There were about fifteen in the
party, and it was not found necessary
to order out the Fire Department dur-
ing their stay in the town.
