Foor Crops.
The corn crop this year in this state,
as indicated by reports to the office of
the board of agriculture at Harrisburg,
will not be more than three-fourths of
the average. The reports of the potato
crop are more discouraging, the yield
this year, through the effects of the
dry weather, being estimated at less
than half the average of previous
years,

A Good Thing to Keep at Hand,
From the Troy ( Kansas) Chief.
Some years ago we were very much
subject to severe spells of cholera mor-
bus; and now when we feel any of the
symptoms that usually preceed that
ailment, such as sickness at the stom-
ach, diarrhoea, etc., we become scary.
We have found Chamberlain's Colie,
Cholera and Diarrheoa Remedy the
very thing to straighten one out in
such cases, and always keep it about.
We are not writing this for a pay tes-
timonial, but to let our readers know
what is a good thing to keep handy in
the house. For sale by J. D. Murray,
Druggist.

Pecalinr Accident,
On last Saturday, while Daniel
Markley was playing ring-tag at Mid-
dlecreek, a young lady ran against
him with such force as to dislocate his
left shoulder, says the Middleburg
Post. Had he put his arm around her
neck immediately, his shoulder would
have been located.

This treatment will cure any ordinary
case in one or two days. * Pain Balm
also cures rheumatism. 50 cent bot-
