    SEASHORE TRIP.
%10 for the Round Trip to the Atlantic
Const via the PP, BR. R.
On August 19th and 24th the last
two of the popular summer series of
seashore excursions will be run. A
choice of four destinations is allowed—
whether Atlantic City,
Ocean City, or Sea isle City. The
rate of $10 from Pittsburg and propor-
tionately reduced rates from other
places is a most extraordinary offer
when the distance covered is consider-
ed. The tickets are good for return
passage within twelve days, which
gives ample time for a restful vacation
by the sea.
The success of these remaining ex-
cursions is assured by the patronage
accorded the preceding two of the
same series. Great satisfaction has
been expressed on all sides at the man-
ner of service with which the Penn-
sylvania Railroad Company handled
these trips, everything possible being
doue for the convenience of its patrons.
The special train will leave Pittsburg
at 8.50 A. M., arriving in Philadelphia
a little after 7 in the evening. The
night may be spent in the Quaker City
and any regular train taken the next
day for the shore.
The rates apply on regular trains
leaving Pittsburg at 4.30, 7.00, and 8.10
P. M., or on special train leaving at
8.50 A. M. on the above meutioned
date.
The special train will be run on the
following schedule, and the tickets
will be sold at the rates quoted:

Narrowly Escaped Barning.
On Wednesday noon as the family
of Mr. John H. Moyer, of Tusseyville,
were at dinner it was discovered that
the roof of the summer kitchen was
on fire, and burning fiercely. Assist
ance being near at hand a bucket line
was formed and the fire was finally
got under control, but not until a large
hole had been burned in the roof. The
fire was fortunately discovered in time,
Had a few minutes elapsed the flames
would have gained such headway that
the entire property would have been
in ashes,

Destroyed by Fire,
On Monday afterncon the fine large
dwelling house of Emanuel Musser,
located near State College, on the road
to Center Furnace, was entirely de-
stroyed by fire. The fire started from
a defective flue, and there being no ap-
pliances at hand for fighting fire, the
furniture was quickly removed and
the building soon became the prey of
the flames. All the furniture was
saved. The burned building was par-
tially insured.

Mr. Thomas Batte, editor of the
Graphic, Texarkana, Arkansas, has
found what he believes to be the best
remedy in existence for the flux. His
experience is well worth remembering.
He says: “Last summer I had a very
severe attack of flux. I tried almost
every known remedy, none giving re-
lief. Chamberlain's Colic, Cholera
and Diarrhoea Remedy was recom-
mended to me. I purchased a bottle
and received almost immediate relief,
I continued to use the medicine and
was entirely cured. I take pleasure in
recommending this remedy to any

of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, in the
treatment of diarrhoea in her children
