Hosterman, Mrs. Schaefler's parents, spent a few days at the home of her daughter Mrs, John Hoffa. George Van Valm of Johnson burg Elk county, Pa., and H. B. Ulrich, of Renova, are paying their friends in this vicinity a short visit. R. T. Vonada and wife, of Altoona, are off on a ten days vacation to friends in this and Brush Valley. Quite a number of our people were at Millheim last Saturday to be pres- ent at the Columbus Day celebration.
