loy, a beautiful 2§-year-old girl, was
found yesterday afternoon pinioned
down by a fallen tree at the buse of a
large rock, one and a half miles wrth of

was fastened and the utter absence of
rents in her clothing or scratches on her
body or limbs confirms the suspicion
that she was stolen, kept pwr until
Sunday and put in the place where she
was found. The child died last evening
at 8 o'clock. The mother's condition is
serious and it is feared that her reason
will be dethroned.

deed. than £1.250.000. It has for a long
time been discussed by prominent attor-
