Braprorpd, Pa., May 268. Joseph and
Willie Tranter and Austin Paterson
were terribly cut and mangled here by
the explosion of a torpedo squib, The
boys found the squib in an old brush
heap on High street and either kicked or
threw a stone at it, when it exploded
with the above results Willie Tranter
had his right eye blown out and Plo 4
of tin and iron embedd ed in his flesh.
