A A IS EXCITEMENT UNABATED. PROO¥ THAT THAT PHYSICIAN'S TERRIBLE QORFESSIUN IS TRUE, (Cleveland, Oy Herald. } Yesterday and the day before we popied into our ocolumne from the Rochester, N. Y., “Democrat and Chro- nicle,” a ‘remarkable statement, made by J. B. Henion, M, D., a gentleman who is well-known in this city, In that Bice Dr, Henion recounted a wonder- rience which befell him,and the y wo published from the same Jat a Y oond article, giving an account of the excitement in Rocl ester, and elsewhere, caused by Dr, Henion's statement. It is doubtful if any two articles were ever published which gaused greater commotion both among professionals and laymen, Since the publication of these iwo articles, naving been besieged with let- ters ot inquiry, we sent a communica- tion to Dr, Henion and also to H. H, Warner & Co., asking if any additional proof could be given, and here it is: Gextremey: 1 owe my life and pres- ent health whoily to the power of Warner's Safe Cure, which snatched me from the very brink of the grave. Hexion, M.D. ROCHESTER, N. Y., Jan, 2L Sins. You hear me Henry! this ere buzz saw is going.” “All right, dad” was the response, and the boy was lsft {0 look around while the old man went upstairs, When he came down five minutes ater, Henry was dancing around as if he had tacks in his boots, and about an inch of one of his fingers was lying in the sawdust, “What is it?" shouted the old man. “Finger off!” howled the boy. “*You infernal pumpkin-head, didn’t I tell you that buzz saw was gomg?”’ “Yes, dad, but where was she going to? A MAN Who V was trying to make a sadly worn dress coat and a pair of frayed-out cuffs bold him up against the blizzard, the other day, got a bad fall in crossing Union Square, When he picked himself up, he looked over the ground so carefully that a pedestrian halted and asked: “Did you lose anything?” “I'm looking for a dollar bill,’ the reply. “Sure you dropped it?” “Oh, no; but I'm certain that if there was one anywhere about my clothes, that jar must have shaken it out where I can lay hands on iti" AFTER all, there 18 nothing more ad- mirable in a public man than the cour- age of his religion convictions and prac- tices.
