New Milford, Conn., June IS,—ln one ef the field* on tho farm of .Mr. Fitch sev eral of tho hands saw, on Saturday, a number of crows flying back and forth around a hawk, which seemed to be try ing to fly but wa# unable to do so. The | trouble was, the men discovered on going nearer, that the hawk was having a battle with a black snake which had coiled around the neck of the bird, and hail also encircled the wings.
