work he said was similar to that of the
ministry, and a work to make the world

is a werk e! which none need feel asham

Col P. W. Barnhart, next spoke upen
this topic and gave his experience as te

Topic A Teacher's best helps in Bible
study. How te interest a class What a
teacher can do for his scholars eul of
school
Opened by Rev Stover, who referred
to tho helps from commentaries ; the
teacher must s ek the spiritual interests of
the scholar, besides imparting instruc
tion, he needs tbe influence of the spirit
of God to qualify him.
Kev. Aurand said he approved of broth- j
er Stover's means, but does not approve ef
depending too much en commentaries;
should study first for themselves, and take
tke ether helps a* aids. Hs uttered much
profitable adv .co tor the teacher as to his
vi k and conversation outside ef the
school, as he had observed teachers whose
conduct wa* not in keeping with their
teachings.
Rev Shaver said be would get children
interested in himself and have ikeiu love
htm, then get them to love the truth by
try : .Bg to make It attractive by his study
of it and present it in bis own way with
the help of tbe Holy Spirit.
Rev. Akers remarked that the teacher
must interest his scholars aad love them.
Dr. Ua der thought a teacher should give
evidence to the class that he knews what
he is going to talk about, and tbat tbe
scholar must have a chance to talk back.
He related his experience as bring a
teacher that it required harder work than
a sermon to keep the interest up.
Kev. Cronce was then called upon to
sing, "Scatter the Seeds of Kindness '
