July 21.—Mi*s Sarah Goodloe, aged nineteen years, daughter of a b a ling citixen of thi- place, was bitten by a rattlesnake while picking berries on Wycknff Mountain, a mile and a half from hcm>-, and being uuaklu to reach borne died a frightful death in the wood*.
