PUBLIC.
For many year- we have made two med
icincs suited for the ailments of a vastcin ■
of sufferers. Thousands of cures have
been made by them, and in fact, the word
failure could never be coupled with them.
But within the last two years counterfeits
of our medicines have sprung up, danger*
ous in their close imitation of ourtir.de
mark. T<> secure the pooplo WO have
placed upon each genuine box of Hollo
way's Pills and Ilolioway's Ointment the
fac smille of the signature of our Agoi I,
Mr. Jos. Ilavdock. To counterfeit ll.i
is a felony. We shall nlcntlessly pursue
any one who imitates this with the utm< _-l
vigor of the law. \Vo most earnestly beg
that the great nin:s of the American
people wiH aid us in our cil'urts to protect
their health, and help us in our task of
bringing these nio.-t unprincipled men to
the bar of justice. Uniformly relUsO to
purchase Medicines ' '
nil"*- " * ........„ .0 00 our*
..,r. Jne. Hnydof k's signature i t
tached to each Box of l'ills or F-t of oint
