Last Thursday morning, Mr.Sbafer
of Madisonburg, met with a very serious
accident at'Flemington. Uu wasgeting coal
out of h frozen pile, when tbe upper jior
tiou descended, completely burying and
nearly suffocating him. When gotten out

minutes more would have finished him.
He escaped with but few bruises.
The Grove robbers bare notyet been

The Baldwin works, at Philadelphia,
