OTTAWA, Canada, April 7.—Early this
morning -D'Arehy McGee, a prominent
member of Parliament, was shot dead by
au unknown assassin as he was entering
the house In which he lodged, on sparks
st reef. The ball passed through his head,
and was buried In a door. McGee had
just left Parliament. It is supposed the
murderous weapon was held Woes to his
head when fired. A New York Fenian
