On Moaday Judge Barker banded down hi.- decision in the case, in which the anmunt of the salary to which the coni-n;;-:ci;ers r.f Cambria county are entitled to i in dispute. The case was arzued several months ago and originated from the fact that Com-iiiis-ioner Wertz claimed that the salary of a commissioner of Cambria county was 41 i pT year, the amount fixed by a special Act for Cambria county passed by the l?g islature in 1572, while Commissioners rjOV(j anj lillon clainied compensation at the rate of $3.50 per day in accordance wiili a general law passed by the legisla ture in 1?9. Mr. Wertz appealed from the last auditors' report, which allowed Mr. Lloyd ft1.50 and Mr. Dillou $53.50 more than f-H) for the year ls4. Judge Barker in his opinion settles the salary at $4Xi, according to the terms of the special Ac' of lsTJ, without regard to the number of days the commissioners were engaged in their office in pursuance of their duties as commissioners. It is said that Messrs. Lloyd and Dillon will appeal the case to the Supreme Court. The cae decided related only to the sal aries for the year 1814 and should the de cision be affirmed there will, in all proba bility, be an effort to recover the amounts overpaid for a number of years past that is since ls.t. Do you know we are taking out teeth every day without one particle of pain? Well, we are doing this very thins w ith "( dontiinder." the only local an;elht-lii- that has stood the test and to-dav it is the only one that is used universally by den tists w ho are up to dale in their callinK. The price for "(Wontunder" w hen pain less is TiO cents, but if you experience the least pain, we only charge you the usual price. 'J" cents. Mow about tnose teeth that need muni?.' Well, you sav they don't ache. That's just the reason w hy you should have them tilled now. Alter they hive ached once you will probably have to have the nerve Killed and the tooth treated if you are de sirious of saving it. 1 only charge .M cents for amalgum fillings and from up for gold fillings. These are hard-lime prices but they go just the same. Why procras tinate? thai s a big word but it s a good one right here because procrastination means to the patient loss of sleep, neural gia, ear-ache, tooth-ache and goodness knows what else. We know of a good many young ladii-s of our acquaintance who would have been married long ago if it hadn't been for those horrid-looking teeth. Remember, toevery patient naving teeth tilled 1 give a Ikx of Dr. Richards' tcoth powder and full instructions for the care of the teeth. On the 13th of each month 1 will extract teeth free of charge. Vou say why on the 13th. Well, now. that's my business. All you have to do is to come. Remember I won't take out your good teeth, because 1 don't believe in it. Then you say suppose tbe 13th falls on Sunday.
