for his large trad or coal land, w hich has
been regarded as a prize by coal men ror
some time oast, savs the Hastings Trili-

.: Spaimlcr. w ho w ill at once put in an
opening. Circumstances make it desira
ble that Duncan Spangier hae an
operation not covered by lease from
the Su-rlinir Company, but the
main purpose ir the new operation is to
furnish drainage for the immense Sterling
operations on the other side of Hastings.
From this standpoint the new move is of
immense importance to Hastings, as the
Sterling mines have l-t-n seriously crip
pled Tor years by the problem or drainage,
and owing to the extent or the workings,
pumping litis become very expensive. Mr.
Maiiion declines to say what price was
paid for his coal, but it is said to have
been Jloo per acre. The main body of the
coal will probably be mined by the A 1 1 -port
Company, which has an operation on
the west side of the tract.

DENTISTRY.
Do you know we are taking out teeth
every day w ithout one particle of pain?
Weil, we are doing this very thing with
"t Mont under," t he only local ana-stbetic
that has stood the test and to-dtiv it is the
only one that is ue1 universally by den
tists who are up to date in their calling.
The price for "Odontund, r" w hen pain
less is Till rents, but if you experience the
least pain, we only charge you the usual
price. cents.
How about those teeth that need tilling?
Well, you say they don't ache. Thai's
just the reason why you should have them
tilled now. After they- hive ached once
you will probably have to have the nerve
killed and the tooth treat.-! if you are ,ie--irious
of s-iv ing it. I only charge :i cents
for amalgum Idlings and from Jl.no up for
gold tilling-. These are hard-lime prices
but they go just the same. Why procras
tinate'.' that's-a big word but it's a g. m.J
one right here U-cause procrastination
means to the patient loss of sleep, neural
gia, ear-ache, tooth-ache and goodness
knows what else. We know- of a good
many young ladies of our acquaintance
who vvuuld haye beon married long ago if
it hadn't been foi those horrid-looking
teeth. Remember, toeverv patient Having
teeth tilled 1 give a lxx of Dr. Richards'
tcotli powder and full instruction for the
care of the teeth. On the 13th of each
month 1 will extract teeth free of charge.
You say why on the FKh. Well, now.
that's my business, AM you have to do is
to rome. Remember 1 won't take out your
good teeth, because 1 don't tielicve in it.
Then you say suppose the lath fall- on
Sunday. Come right along and we will Im
only loo glad to relieve you of the offend
ing member.
