easy and graceful.
The second speaker wa Morgan Hushes
who treated hi eubjct "The Dutchman's

given it mncb study, and tbe production
was well received by the and lence.
'America's Mission," an oration, was the
theme of OMn Barker's discourse. He
bandied his subject well ; bis address wa
well pretared and well delivered.

Oat," by Leonard Jones, and it wa well
taken care of. lie was loudly applauded.

But Hold Fast a Better
lhe above true sarins? we note, believing It to be applicable in our ca.'e, as everyone knows
Simon to be a reliable and rqnare-deallna: merchant. Trace, il you choose, his record back for
fifteen years (that being tbe length of time he ha been doini; business In Altoons) and you will
discover a record perlectly clean in every respect, and as It has teen In the past, juft so will It
be In the future. Now, in speak in a; ol our business record, we wish to ssy that have always ad
hered (strictly so) to nrlKinality In advertising, and we never (as do some of onr competitors)
cojy or imitate This assertion we make without tear ol successful contradiction. Another fact
we wth to Impress upon the public is that we sell our sroo.ls at the flares quoted in our adver
tisements. Another fact to which ee wish lo call tbe puhile ' attention is that we receive more
goods in one day than do some of our woald-be competitors In two weeks, and the truth of this
can be verified any time by relcrrlc to the Pennsylrania Freiicbt Department at Oallltztn.
Now, no doubt, all we have said in the foregoing: will be considered by mine of our green-eyed
rivals as sixinncant of nothing. We generously accord them the benefit ol the doubt, but never
theless, thkrk is a volumous significance In what we hive said, I. e., that we are doing a busi
ness ot Jumbolieal immensity ; that we are selling ffrocerles atvat down, as nsnal ; that we are
eelllnsr Dry Goods 50 per cent, lower than any other store in town. Calico at 3 cents per yard,
and mngbams (the best) at6 oents per yard : that we are selling Men's liroirans at 98 cent per
pair ; Boys' Brogans at 75 cents per pair ; Men's Dress Fhoes at $1 21 per pair ; Children's Shces
22 cent per pair ; Lsdies' Dress Shoes at 90 cents per pair ; Ladles' Dress Kid Shoes at Sl.24 and
fl.45; Common Sense or Spring Heel, Boys' Shoes Lace. Congress or Button at f 1 00 per year.
Clothing is our main forte and we dare say no one can touch us on prioes. Children's ScufT
Suits. $1.24 ; Children's Irress Salts, tl.48 ; Children's all-wool Suits. S2.00 : Boys' Dress SutU,
long pants, from 12.48 up ; Children's Pants, 90 cents per pair o f which we hare SCO dor.en. So
If you you desire to take advantage of these bargain you had better do so at once. These goods
are are all good and are for boys ranging In age from It to 19 years. S4.00 will buy a suit worth
t.oQ. Men's Dress Suits .Sack or Cutaway, black corkscrew, at S7.60 per suit. Prince Albert
