Oa Sunday last our town was crowded
with strangers from Altoocs, Johnstown,

On Sunday last there was a game of base
bail played on the grounds of the Chest

storekeeper.
Yesterday our friend nenry Mellon, cf

In Carroll township, gave a May party. It
wa quite an erj yab!e affair, the tables
groaned with the good thing which tickle
the palate, the music was lively and the
