A coupin who were in town on Monday
getting their marriage license did not start
on their return trip until after dark and
when about a mile west of town one of the
btigiry wheels got iuto a rut and over they
wiit into the mud. Tbe intended groom

finding very little damage done, started on

On Saturday evenin last about 7

short time tbe whole building was cons

joining took fire and a borse was barely

1 1,500 ; there was an insurance of ?00 oa
the building, and t250 on the stock. Tbe
origin of the fire Is unknown. There was
no work done in the building that day, and
no Cre In the stove. The flames were first
discovered on the second floor near the
middle of the building, and spread rapidly.
It Is thought to be the work of an incen
diary Huntingdon Local Aetc.
