Pavid Bocher, a foung man, raised In
Barr townohip, but who, a few years ago
wett west, returned the beginning of this
week and spent a few days in town. David
prides himself on being a cowboy, and on
Tuesday night he. thought it would be a good
time to paint the town red. Without any
previous Introduction he marched into
Court Crier Crouse's domicile about ten
o'clock, and with a yell that was calculated
to strike terror into the heart of an ordinary
citizen of a western town, he announced
himself as a cowboy from the west, and also
that he could lick any two men In tie town
Mr. Crouse demanded silence in court, but
David was not to be quieted in that way
and squared off. when Mr. Crouse gave him
a right-hander on the mug that brought him
to his knees. David then came to the conclus
ion that he was in the wrong place, and
parsded up town and into tbe Blair Bouse,
