Tite Greensburg 'Argus says: A
correspondent informs us that a piece
of iron hung in fruit trees vill eilectu
ally prevent the ravages of frost. The
informant states that the night before
the freeze in April last,Xie hung several
pieces of old iron in ten of h?s peach
tices, and that tho fruit was hot killeel.
The fruit of the remaining trees (fifteen
in number) was all killed. A piece of
liorso shoe was hung in a cherry tree
in the same orcharel and it was loadetl
with fruit, whilst on three adjacent
trees the fruit was entirely killeel.
