Peoples, the Stairbuilder. Our
friends, in visiting the Kx posit ion, at l'iits
burgh, will fiml on the North Gallery a tine
display of stairways, manufactured by Wm.
Peoples, whose shop is located at 142 Web
ster street, Allegheny. The Pittsburgh Ga
zette says: Every house-builder will fiml
it will pay to make a careful examination of
the Krtinpics of straight and spiral Ptairways
which he exhibits. The Stairways, Hand
rails, Newels, and Ilalisters are models of
lightness ami graceful pioportions, united to
great strength. Mr. Peop'.es has made stair
building a special study for years, and hav
ing a peculiar genius in that direction, he
has gained a fame that is widespread ami
enduring. Mr. Peoples has aisoonjexhibitiou
the Evans' Patent Hench Vise, which he
manufactures, and it has been pronounced
by experienced carpenters superior to any-.,
thingof the kind ever offered to btti lifers.- It
is just the tool for carpentem and joiners,
wagon, carriage, cabinet and pattern makers,
stairbuilders, engravers ami carvers, and all
workers in wood. No- worker in wood
should miss examining this vise. It in man.
ufacluied and bold at a very reasonable price.
The Kxp.isition will be confirmed one week from
Saturday, Nov. 6. Admission reduced to twenty
live cents.
