visit to the Woodrale school. This institution,
under the tuition of Prof. S. P. McCormick,
is the best conducted school of the kind it has
ever been mv lol to see I am no admirer of
the public school system, but I must say that
had w a gri.it many more such teacher as
Prof. Met ormick. our schools would at least
be ndeq-iatc to the task of imparting a thor-
ough secular education a desideratum which
at present as a class they do not furnish Ev
erything iu this school wears tiie semblance of
oider another feature very uncommon in pub
